Batten and Allen and Cotsworld Plastics team up with Precision Micro for N.E.W

Precision Micro, Batten & Allen and Costworld PlasticsPrecision Micro, Europe’s leading Photo Chemical Machining company, have joined forces with Batten and Allen and Cotsworld Plastics for this years National Electronics Week exhibition at London’s Earl’s Court.

The trio, all recognised as market leading manufacturers in their own right, have over 100 years collective experience in bespoke component production for the electronics industry.

Combining a wide range of services including rapid prototyping, precision stamping and plating, wire EDM, electroforming and injection moulding, the companies can boast a portfolio of products ranging from conventional connectors and contacts through to complex EMI / RFI shielding enclosures.

“This coming together enables us to offer customers the complete supply route from conception to realisation”, said UK Sales Manager Terry Gaunt. “Where Precision Micro can support initial prototypes and offer rapid chemical machining on small to mid volumes, Batten and Allen are on hand to offer competitive high volume stamping and plating. Likewise, where Precision Micro have the expertise to produce ultra fine pitch lead frames, Cotsworld Plastics are ideally placed to mould the housing around the Leadframe legs”.

With the UK manufacturing industry going through a difficult period due to the economic downturn, Precision Micro are witnessing an upturn in business, something which has been aided by strengthening relationships with its product partners. “Learning from others and transferring knowledge is one of the best ways to ensure manufacturers remain sustainable”, concluded Mr Gaunt.

National Electronics Week runs from 16 – 18 June 2009. You can visit Precision Micro, Batten and Allen and Cotsworld Plastics at stand A38
